I’m creating an experimental multimedia portrait of British computer animation pioneer, Tony Pritchett.
In 1967, Pritchett created Britain’s first computer animation, ‘The Flexipede’
My research has shown that ‘The Flexipede’ is the world’s first computer generated story, character animation and use of comedy in a computer animated film.
Tony’s work is a great source of inspiration, as is he as a person. I hope that my documentary project can do it justice!
