I took part in a workshop led by Rosalind Fowler and James Holcombe, who facilitated the exploration of the artistic, social, and playful possibilities of tinting 16mm motion picture film using dyes derived from organic plant material. Participants were encouraged to make discoveries that drew out ideas and possibilities inherent in this simple and ecologically friendly creative session.
I genuinely can not recall which section I worked on or the names of the fellow work-shoppers. Many apologies for the lack of credits.
Usually I go to great lengths to give correct credits. This filmmaking experience was an anomaly and a very pleasant day spent ‘out of time’.
