The Red Lily Show

As a member of Screen South‘s XR lab cohort, I created some experimental photogrammetry / AR work. The project was created in response to  Powell & Pressburger’s ‘The Red Shoes’ (1948) and created as part of The BFI’s Cinema Unbound Season.

I was very interested in themes of the artist being controlled by their equipment, obsession with making and an unhealthy work-life balance. Absolutely no idea why!
Many thanks to artist Livi Wilmore who led a workshop at Screen South, introducing us artists to the amazing tech – and to all at Screen South for this amazing opportunity.
